The pastel colors of The Continent’s buildings have faded, and in some places they are cracked and peeling. Only the movie theater, indoor sports complex and a smattering of restaurants remain in the area. Most retail establishments have shut down or left, and there are an abundant number of business spaces for rent. On the other side of town, within The Continent, sidewalks once filled with customers are empty now.
